How do you art+sound soundbar to xfinity remote?

We need to control the soundbar with the xfinity remote.

Very unlikely you will be able to do that. The xfinity remote won't learn codes that are not programmed in at manufacture. You would need remote that can learn the soundbar codes.
There may be a work around. If you can connect the soundbar to the audio output of the cable box and set it to variable you should be able to control it. If your TV has a headphone jack connect the soundbar to it and the TV volume will control it.
