How do you hook my laptop to my computer

Hi,

I am trying to hook up my laptop to my computer so i can use my internet connection on my laptop. The laptop is an Acer. My computer is quite old it is an LG (I think). It was custom made for me. Is it possible to do this?

Assuming your laptop has built-in wireless capability, you need to buy a wireless router if your ISP has not supplied you with one.

Connect your PC to the router with an ethernet cable, then set up your laptop to use the router's wireless connection.
