How do you hook up a subwoofer to a Kenwood KR-V8010 reciever

I have a. I rage Kenwood KR-V8010 receiver and wood like to know to hook up an active subwoofer to it.

It depends on the subwoofer.
If the sub has speaker level inputs you connect it to the same speaker terminals are the main speakers or speaker B terminals if you want the option of disconnecting it from the front panel of the receiver If the sub also has speaker level outputs then you could connect the main speakers to those instead of directly to the receiver..
If the sub doesn't have speaker level inputs then you will need a speaker to line level converter.

Can you connect to the terminals marked "rear pre-out and use a powered sub like Klipsh 12" and connect to red and white rca inputs of sub?

Hi, I have one of these V1080's and I am looking for a manual? Any information on how many watts this thing has at 4ohms. Thanks, Joel
