How does your battery life compare to when your phone was new?

How does your battery life compare to when your phone was new? I want to know how much most people's smartphone batteries degrade over time. Thanks!

MIne never has been all that great ( I have an LG Spectrum 4G LTE ). I change the battery in the morning and again in the evening ( About every 12 hours with about 1/3 left ). I probably have a bunch of unnecessary junk in there that needs cleaning out.

My batteries have always been great haven't really noticed any big difference 6 months on or a year on unless the phone was crap to begin with but apparently with Lithium ion batteries you can increase their life (although not by that much) if you don't let them completely discharge leaving it at about 20% before charging it wont go through a full cycle. And then depending on how hot your phone gets that can decrease a batteries life.
