Hi, not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I am looking to upgrade the memory in my hp dv7-4063ca laptop. My question is how exact do the numbers have to be? I found one that is Neewer 4GB PC3-10600s-09-10-f2 for Samsung M471b5673fh0-ch9 Laptop Memory Ram. The samsung part inclluding the m47 bit is what is written on the existing memory I have. The problem with this is that the only place I could find that was selling this wanted 15-28 buisiness days. That is way too long; would it still work if i got something that was 4gb pc3-10600?

Thanks

Kingston sells platform specific memory on Newegg. As long as the type of memory is correct and the timings are supported you should be fine.

Check the manufacturer website to be sure, supported memory manufacturers.
