Hi Guys,

I've found quite a nice HP G6 laptop within my budget, however I'm not sure whether the specs are good enough for some moderate gaming. (By that I mean probably playing 2-3 year old games on such as Napoleon Total War, Minecraft etc..)

Please tell me what you think, and if you can recommend any other laptops within the £400 ($800) mark, I'll be most grateful.

Thanks!

Games will run fine with HD6520g on it. It is fine for you. But if you find a laptop with intel cpu, it will run more fine. Like hp g4 1018tu. It is without gpu and around $600. It can run most of the latest game in low res smoothly(batman: arkham city, fear 3 etc).

You can look for a laptop like that g4 with gpu will be very good for you. It will be in your price range.($800)

Hi Mubin,

Thanks for your reply, I also have seen a refurbished HP DV6 for the same price but its refurbished.

Would the DV6 perfrom better?

Thanks

Depends on model that has better configuration. Look for a laptop with i5 and discrete graphic.
