how often would a number stored in contacts show up as a no caller I'd?

My boyfriend insists that my phone number ,which is in his address book showed up as a no caller I'd twice. His provider is sprint anf m mine is metro. How often does this happen ?

never had it happen myself.once the number is in contacts it should show up everytime.
