How reliable is "CanIRunIt.com"?

I purchased an HP laptop with the following specs hoping that it would play Diablo III:

Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
2nd generation Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2860QM Processor (2.5 GHz with Turbo Boost up to 3.6 GHz)
2GB AMD Radeon(TM) HD 7690M GDDR5 Discrete Graphics(TM) [HDMI, VGA]
8GB DDR3 System Memory (2 Dimm)
750GB 7200 rpm Hard Drive with HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection

And the site tells me that it can't run Diablo III because of the video card, in which the minimum videocard it accepts is NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GT or ATI Radeon X1950 Pro or better....

However, in regards to the video card, it passes the required "features":

Required:
Pixel Shader Version: 3.0
Vertex Shader Version: 3.0
Dedicated Video RAM: 256 MB

It says I have:
Pixel Shader Version: 4.1
Vertex Shader Version: 4.1
Dedicated Video RAM: 2.1 GB

It should be good enough. Why does it say that it doesn't even meet the minimum requirements.

your laptop is more than fine

you laptop will run diablo 3... the problem is probably because can you run it havent updated their software with the new video cards

can i run it works more or less with specs on paper, and is a bit laptop unfriendly. because laptop parts are slightly different than desktop parts.
