How to Add a Suffix to Your LinkedIn Profile Name

While using your LinkedIn account, sometimes it is important to add a particular suffix with any additional qualifications (eg. PhD), to your profile name so that the profile visitors or your LinkedIn connections know your profession and/or your area of expertise.

At the time of this writing, LinkedIn has no field dedicated to add suffix to your profile. In order to add a suffix to your name, you can include the text in the last name field.

Assuming that you did not add a suffix to your LinkedIn profile during the creation process, here is how you can get it done even after the profile has been created::

    ■Turn on your computer system.
    ■Open your favorite web browser.
■Open the LinkedIn website by typing www.linkedin.com in the address bar and pressing Enter.
■On the Sign In window, provide your credentials in the appropriate fields, and click the Sign In button.
