How to Add the Pinterest ‘Pin It’ Extension to Your Browser

If you already have a Pinterest account or if you are planning to start one, it is a good idea to add the ‘Pin It’ extension to your web browser.

Since Pinterest allows you to add Pins (images and videos of your interest) to your profile’s pinboard, having the ‘Pin It’ button added to your favorite web browser comes in handy when you surf through the net and find something interesting.

With the ‘Pin It’ button added to your web browser, you can Pin the images and videos of your interest directly from any web page without going through the lengthy regular process of getting the task done.

To add the video or image of your interest to your pinboard, all you need to do is, click the ‘P’ button available at the top of the browser interface (next to the address bar in Google Chrome).

Here’s how you can install the ‘Pin It’ button to your favorite web browser:

■Open your favorite web browser. (E.g. Google chrome in this demonstration)
■Type the https/about.pinterest.com/en/goodies URL in the address bar, and press Enter to go to the Goodies page.
■On the Goodies page, locate and click the Install Now button under the The Pin It button section.



■On the Add to Chrome popup box, click the Add button from the bottom to add the Pin It button to your browser.

Note: The Add to Chrome popup box comes up because Google Chrome is used in this demonstration. The popup box, its name, and buttons may vary depending upon the web browser you choose to use.
