How to attach a LG Blu ray player (model BP 155) to an older Bose surround sound system

Hello:
I have a very basic Blu Ray player, with only one HDMI connection. That's connected to the Vizio smart TV. I can play DVDs all I want, but not in stereo. The problem, I think is that this older Bose system has no HDMI inputs. Even if it did, the Blu Ray player has only one input for the HDMI (plus a USB port in the front). Is there ANY way I can connect, using any type of cord? Thanks so much

Hello, thank you! would this converter that you mention be similar to the one I found at Amazon: "by MuchBuy
MuchBuy Digital Optical Coaxial Toslink Signal to Analog Audio Converter Adapter RCA L/R"? I was looking around doing my own research and it seems people have this issue with older stereo systems. I see in the back of my TV that there is a digital audio out input..do I attach one end to that and the other end to the Bose system? Thanks again for your help...I'm fairly a novice at this stuff.
