Question how to boost a split hdmi signal

2 TVs on one cable box via splitter. One is remote on a 30' hdmi cable. It drops when the closer TV is turned on. I would like to boost the signal to the remote TV. What works and where is it installed?

HDMI 1x2 Splitter. Yes, it is powered. No brand name, got it on eBay. Thanks for replying.
