How to Buy From Amazon Without a Credit Card

Amazon.com is arguably the most popular online shopping outlet, allowing shoppers to buy virtually any type of product. When they started, about the only product available was books, but it wasn’t long until the site branched out to other types of products and now shoppers can buy nearly anything from the site including food, clothing, and even cars. Amazon generally prefers that shoppers pay with a credit card, but if a shopper does not have a credit card or does not wish to enter their card online, there are other ways to pay. 1. Checking account- When you get to the billing part of the checkout, click on Add a Checking Account. Enter the routing number and account number along with the name, address, driver’s license number, and state of the account holder. Funds will come straight from the account.

2. Gift card- Go to www.amazon.com and log in to your account. Click on Apply a Gift Card to Your Account. Enter the code for the gift card, found on the back of the card, usually revealed after scratching off the coating that covers it. The funds from the gift card will be placed in your account balance.

3. Other options- You can also redeem points, but this takes having a credit card linked to the points registration. When you use the card, you get points that can be redeemed later.
