The Fitbit Flex is a new fitness tracker that comes with a large and a small wristband. If you need to switch your Fitbit to a new wristband, you will need to transfer the Fitbit itself. Fortunately, this is simple to do, and you will have a new wristband on in no time.
Step 1: Remove the clasp of the wristband by pushing it out with one thumb. You will see a slit on the back of the wristband where the Fitbit Flex itself lies. Pry the slit open and gently remove the Fitbit. Bending the rubber wristband will help.
Step 2: Take your new wristband. Place it on your wrist so that the outside lights are close to the outside of your wrist and facing you. Align the ends of the wristband with the holes and adjust to your wrist for comfort.
Step 3: With your new wristband on, you can insert the tracker. Hold the Fitbit in your hand with the gray arrow facing up. Insert this end into the wristband. The arrow will be pointing toward the holes.
Recap: Make sure to handle your Fitbit gently whenever you transfer it to another wristband or take it out to charge it. The Fitbit itself is what makes the tracker work – otherwise, you just have a rubber band. With new wristbands, you can constantly transfer your Fitbit to meet your new fashion needs or to switch to a wristband that fits better.
