How to change windows system folder name

I have got a Sony lap top with Windows XP, it has windows folder name C:/Documents & Setting/"X" I want to change the X name, but it says you can't change the windows folder name. can someone reply me at asgharmtm@gmail.com on even in this page. Appreciate your help.

You'll have to take ownership of the folder.
Or if you have a recovery disk, restart Windows and start CMD from it.
Then look up some tutorials on how to rename a folder via CMD.
