How to check my replaytv for lifetime service

I've been given a RePlayTV..a 5000 series, and I don't know whether it has a lifetime service or not. Does anyone know how I would check this?

Replay has been sold a few different times since 2005. It is currently owned by DTM Holdings (Denon, Marantz, McIntosh).

I'm not sure if you're going to get any useful information out of them.

Since Replay considered shutting down the service last year, they no longer charge for service (and didn't cancel service).

The first time it connects, it will automatically convert to lifetime and get guide data.
