How to connect a laptop to 5.1 home theater system with little wires?

I have a Compaq Persario CQ62 and I want to connect it to a Sony S-AIR (Model No. TA-SA200WR) Home Theater 5.1 system with very little cables (in particular, a 5W bottom-facing subwoofer.). Any options?

P.S I don't want to spend any money unless I absolutely have to.

From what I can tell that is only an amplifier for speakers that works with other Sony products, you need to hook up the laptop to your receiver, not that model amp you listed.

What is the model of the receiver you have where all the connections for inputs go to? Does it have a stereo input? If so, just use the headphone out on the laptop with a 3.5mm to RCA stereo and connect it to the receiver.
