How to edit text on Android tablet

I recently received a new Galaxy Tab 9.7 for Christmas and thus went completely Android and done away with my old Windows device.
Some things are very different: like copy and paste (I've learned that already).
How do I edit text o Android.
For instance, when I am posting on online forums, with windows I just highlighted the part of the txt and the applied desired font,size,underline,clor,etc by clicking those tabs at the top.
How do I do this on Android,please?

Hello Yana,
You can edit txt files and others with some office application. Download from GooglePlay OfficeSuite and you are ready to go
Copy/Paste is simular but you should download File manager (I'll reccomend ES FIle Explorer). With that app you can open your phone folders same like windows.
