How to find my phone number on Android?

I don't know if I can find my phone number on my Android tablet. Help?

You would not have a phone number on the tablet. If you have a SIM card you may have a "fake" number assigned to it, you can find out what that is in the settings for the SIM card or tablet.

I've seen it on the tablet...looking in settings...& other logical places, hasn't produced the #...
...the Verizon product, an Ellipsis tablet...help!!

I have a contract thru Verizon, and, YES it was given a phone number.
