How do I repair red screen on my toshiba laptop Satellite L50D please?

Thankyou for responding. it is all red wherever it should be black. It comes for a few days then goes back to normal then back to red again for longer and longer periods.

can you try using an external monitor to see if it is the onboard videocard that is doing it which I think it is or the screen\video cable?
