How to Follow a LinkedIn Group Discussion

With LinkedIn’s default configuration, you are notified via email every time a new discussion in a group starts. In addition to this, LinkedIn also sends you daily group digest emails to keep you posted about the activities that took place in the group.

However, the issue with that setup is that you get notified via emails only when a new discussion starts in a group. This means LinkedIn does not notify you about all other activities in any discussion in the group if the discussion has already started.

In order to remain updated about all the activities of a group discussion, you must follow the discussion. When you do so, you get notified via an email every time a new reply or comment is posted under the followed discussion.

Here’s how you can follow a LinkedIn group discussion:

■Log on to your computer system.
    ■Open the favorite web browser.
■Type the URL www.linkedin.com in the address bar and click the Enter key.
■On the Sign In window, provide your credentials in the appropriate fields, and click the Sign In button.
