How to get a 2g sd card out of a Motorola to work in a galaxy core prime

Trying to get a 2g Motorola sd card to work in my samsung galaxy core prime there is anyone who can help

Android refers to internal storage and an add-on storage with the same term - SdCard.

A 2GB card sounds like internal storage to me so if there isn't a small card in a slot somewhere inside the phone, you can't remove the data.
