How to get mic and headset both working

I have the Kotion Each gs410 which is just a single 3.5mm jack. So I plug them in through the ports and I see my headset works but my friends can't hear me through discord or dota 2. Tried plugging into the mic port and they could hear me but i couldn't listen.
I've tried plugging them into the rear ports and still, the same problem occurs.
I've also tried going into my audio manager and the Realtek Manager but I still haven't found a solution. Also I'm on windows 7 if that's needed.
