In order to factory reset samsung phone how do I retrieve my password

I hope it isn't possible otherwise anyone who's lost their device or had it stolen has no chance of getting it back with the data intact. The password protects the personal data so thieves can't reset stolen phones and tablets and sell them on.

Break it up and throw it away. If you can't get in without the password, neither can anyone else.

I agree with Saga Lout. Besides its against forum policy to even talk about that here and might be against the law in most civilized countries.
