My Syba Sonic SD-DAC63057 works well with my headphones and all, but there is a hissing sound tha gets little user as you increase the volume of course. I would like to know how to get rid of that hissing noise that only comes from the dac/Amp. I have the dac plugged into my console and the line in is connected to the monitor.

Solution
The powered monitor speaker would be connected to the line output not the input.
A ground loop would normally sound like a buzz or a hum rather than hiss.
Does your console support a USB DAC?
If you are connecting the console to the DAC with the line input you aren't using the DAC part at all, just the headphone amp which may be very noisy. Or the output of the console is too low so you have to turn the gain up too high in the Syba.
