how to get rid of the white screen

i tried to reset it using the button method ( volume and power button ) but instead of going to the reset screen the screen turned white

Reset what? Tablets have different reset procedures depending on brand and model. You are probably missing a step though, it may be a 3 button not a two button combination. Read the instructions again.
