How do you know you have a virus?

Do you know if there is any anti-virus software installed on your laptop? Did you update the database and run the AV software?

More information needed please.

If there were a more poorly worded description of malware and it's symptoms out there, ....I've not run across it recently....

I would recommend you download any two or more anti-virus software such as AVG Malware bytes and run them both( one at a time) until you get zero viruses, malware, Trojans, etc.
