How To Get sound to go through hdmi for video games

My hdmi is able to display and playback sounds through my Samsung TV but as soon as I get into gaming it will still display the game but will stop playing back sounds on my Samsung TV and go through my ASUS laptop instead. Btw I have windows 10.

Hi,

Here's how to set your HDMI as the default playback device.
- Right click on the speaker icon and select Playback Devices.
- Once open right click on the HDMI Output (your TV) and select Set Default.
- Click Apply and OK.

That should make all the sounds to come out of your TV thru HDMI.
