How to get your toshiba labtop mirror the TV with HDMI when your labtop monitor is broken

3 quarters of Toshiba laptop monitor is broken it has a HDMI hookup but it won't mirror on the TV,any suggestions? Thanks

Hold the windows key and hit the P key, it should open a menu where you can do so.

Also would could another solution?_I've used fn/f4,the windows key/p key and still doesn't project on the TV,I'm a little batheled here
