How to hear sound from my Sony bdv e3100 to my Samsung TV

Just got a Sony bdv e3100 want to know how can I hear sound from my Samsung smart tv UN48J5500

That Sony already makes sound thru its speakers (and probably, a headphones output), why you want to listen thru inferior flat TV speakers?

Being an HTiB (Home Theather in a Box), it is quite possible that Sony have decided not to run the audio stream thru HDMI connection (so your TV remains silent).
