how to hook up a wii to a jvc tv

its not showing a picture and im not hearing any sound
its show picture for like 2 second then the screen turns blue

Need to provide some more details, you may be connecting it to the wrong inputs, or the inputs on the TV may not be working or the cable is bad or even the Wii. Does it work with another TV? What exact connections are you using? Component with one video and two audio cables only or Composite with three video and two audio. Or something else?
