How to I connect HTC vive and monitor, at the same time

I bought HTC vive. And it is connected with hdmi to my graphics card. I only have one hdmi in my graphicscard. And i also need to connect my monitor. I have two DVI, but none in my monitor. I have VGA in my monitor, but none in my graphicscard. I bought DVI to VGA adapter. but still doesn't work.
How can i connect the Vive and monitor at the same time.
GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 970 4GB STRIX DC2 OC
Monitor: Samsung S24D590L

Graphics Card Ports: [HDMI / DVI / DVI ]
Monitor: [VGA]

How do you normally connect your PC to your monitor? **confused**


That said.. possible solutions!
1) Purchase a new monitor.
2) Use a TV as a monitor. (most newer TV's have an HDMI or DVI Input. (this way you can play now without purchasing a new monitor.)

Ahhh! Your monitor has (2) HDMI inputs.
Ok, 3rd option... get a DVI to HDMI converter. The part is like $5 at Walmart.
