1. Update your Fire TV software
Update the software version of your Fire TV. Go to ‘Settings’, then ‘Device’ and finally ‘About’. If you have an old version, you will find the option to update it here.
2. Browse Available Apps
There is a huge choice of apps for your Amazon Fire TV. You will find free apps, paid apps, games, channels and a lot of very useful options. You can use the category search bar or just look up the one you want by its name. If you have a payment method linked to the Amazon account active on your Fire TV, it will be used to pay for things. If you don´t, you can use your credit card.
Press the circular button called ‘select’, then the ‘Get’ button. Installation will start immediately. Be careful not to install unwanted apps that can apply charges to your account. If you do, you will be charged even if you immediately uninstall them.
