How to locate the lid sensor im looking for it pls help Toshiba satellite C50

My screen is blank it seem to be working cz wen i plug the usb it make sound. So i need help on locating the sensor of a C50

most laptops these day have a magnet around the lcd and a sensor somewhere around the keyboard. try opening the screen locating the magnet and the sensor should be in a corresponding location

however before you try that do this

Try taking out the battery and putting it back in. Then press shift, F8, and the power button at the same time

Hi, if the laptop seems to start, try an external monitor, if the external monitor shows nothing, then your problem is something else.
