How to move internal phone app to SD card

I have an android phone, huawei, and most of my games will at least mostly go to my SD card when I go to app menu and use move to SD card, but one game in particular takes up over 300mb and when I used the app menu it still had 260 or so on my internal memory. Now I'm stick on phone memory full mode but I don't want to get rid of this game. I even tried deleting a lot of my other games but most of them got super small after moving, only the good games seem to like leaving huge data globs behind. Help please, I'll bake you cupcakes

That method is not perfect. Android no longer has native support for apps trying to run from your SD card, and requires third-party apps/root access. What it moves when you do it that way is the non-essential data. The app itself usually remains in your internal storage.
