How to prevent a stolen PC

I am a few days from completing a high end gaming desktop. I live in my campus dorm during the school year and am worried about my next roommate either stealing it or leaving the doors unlocked for someone else too. Items coming up missing in my dorm isn't exactly uncommon. I was wondering about any kind of solution to protect my PC. Maybe some kind of GPS inside of the tower or something as simple as a padlock and steel cable configuration (can't drill into or mess up any furniture or walls). If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Thanks
