how to prevent frying a phone

My iphone wouldnt turn on anymore so i thought it was fried.. i was right. Now i have a new phone and cant afford to fry another. So how do i prevent frying my phone?

How did you fry the last one?

Use a genuine charger, don't get it wet (a few raindrops on the screen is OK, submerged is not), and don't put it in a frying pan 😉

Also, don't OC your iPhone, that's just silly. Get a Android phone if you want to jump into the OC wars.

Check your charder and make sure it has the correcly volt socket...

If its brand new it will heat up quickly for a few days and after that it will be alright. Otherwise, prevent use of phone while charging.

Nothing wrong with using it while it's charging.
