how to proceed when your laptop wont open after i tried to reset it?

it is saying acer explore beyond the limits and then shows a black screen and that is it. it is going back and fro between those two conditions

I would recommend installing a fresh copy of windows, if you have anything you wish to keep however; I would take it down to a pc repair shop to see what they can do.
