how to recover ms outlook data?

I have a backup of the entire database of ms outlook. And some days ago my OS were crashed,

and now my backup can't be loaded. Is there any possibility to recover my backup of outlook?

Look for a file type ".pst". Outlook data is stored in this type of file.

What did you use to backup your system and how did you back it up (files or disk image)?

And what do you mean when you say that you backed up the "entire database of ms outlook"? Are you referring to the .PST file?
