Hi guys! I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate on a custom built machine. I've had this computer for a year and have had no problems. I do notice that it runs a lot of programs I'm not familiar with (3rd party, etc.) and where I know how to avoid viruses and only download trusted software, and uncheck all optional boxes on installers, I still have a lot of programs I don't want. Is there anyway I can defragment or 'freeze' some of these apps through a program to completely get rid of all "crapware"?

Thank you so much! I appreciate all input. I'm learning as much as I can.

Revo uninstaller. It will get rid of most of what you want, except for a few toolbar type things. All you want to do is just remove them from the computer - i.e. uninstalling them.
