how to replace non remo.vable Macbxook battery?

I have a late 2009 Macbook 13 in with a battery that won't accept a charge. How do I replace the battery myself? I know literature says "Apple technician only"

Well, follow the literature. Apple uses proprietary screws so you can't just pop over to the hardware store and grab a screwdriver.
