Hi akashbhayani,

I don't think you can push the video feed from your TV to your laptop with just a HDMI. The fact that they both use HDMI would mean that you an project your laptop to the TV using a HDMI cable, not the other way around.

You'll probably need a TV tuner if you want to get your TV to play on your computer. Here's a link to the Windows website explaining what type of tuner you will need:

Sorry but it isn't possible. Pretty much all laptops only have HDMI out, not HDMI in. You would need HDMI input to display an external image on the laptop screen. I mean, if your laptop happens to have HDMI in, then go for it, but you will likely need to adjust the TV feed's resolution to fit the laptop screen.
