how to set up speakers to a pc?

my inital thought was i plug the speakers to the sub then just plug it to my pc but these are not the same jacks i have a 7.1 sound card in my pc so thats not a problem but what would i need to set this up to my pc any links or advice would help thanks.

You would need speaker wires, and a RCA/3.5mm audio connector cable and an amplifier/receiver? Depending on amp/receiver, you would then connect (to subwoofer) via high level input (speaker wire) or for a receiver with LFE out a subwoofer cable

The sub could connect directly to the sub or .1 output of the PC but you would need an amplifier of some kind to power the Polk speakers. This can be an amp, integrated amp or stereo receiver. Something like these at the lower cost range:

It would connect to the L/R output of the PC.
