Greetings,
I just bought a Gateway laptop. The entire touchpad is a button. There are no separate buttons. When I click the touchpad with my right thumb the pointer jumps around. It happens extremely often. Like half the time. I have great difficulty clicking where I want to. It is so bad it stresses me out and gives me a headache. I cannot control the computer if I can not click where I want to.
Is there a way to disable a section of the touchpad? So that the lower half does not respond to touches? Ideally I could rest my thumb on bottom half and it would not register at all. I am hoping for a program that does this.
Thanks
p.s. I know a mouse can be used with a laptop, but i am using the laptop places with it actually on my lap like in bed.
p.p.s I know I can tap to click. I dislike that. I want to use the button.
