How to Take a Screenshot in Chromebook

Want to show others what is on your screen or save it for reference?The simplest way to take a screenshot in Chromebook running Chrome OS is described below:

    ■Log on to your Chrome OS laptop.
    ■From the desktop window, open the screen that you wish to capture.
    ■Click Menu (Gear icon) from the bottom-left corner of the desktop screen.

    ■From the available list, locate and hover the mouse over the Accessories menu.
    ■From the displayed submenu, click Screenshot.

    ■Once the Take Screenshot window appears, click to select the desired radio button.
    Note: For example, you can click to select the Grab the whole desktop radio button to capture the full desktop screen, select the Garb the current window radio button to take screenshot of the current window, and choose the Select area to grab radio button if you want to select an area manually by dragging the mouse over it.
    ■Optionally, uncheck the Include pointer checkbox if you do not wish to display the mouse pointer in the screenshot.
    ■Finally, click Take Screenshot from the bottom-right corner to capture the screen.
