How to unlock Roku3

Recently my wife purchased, for lack of better terminology, a few boxes of junk at an estate sale. In one of these was a Roku3 box, no power cable, which is simple enuff to solve, no remote, there again not a big deal but no access codes to actually get into the thing to do anything . Any ideas on how reset it to original settings with no remote? Would like to be able to install kodi on it. Any info would be greatly appreciated .

There is a factory reset hole on the Roku by the power connection, push it in with a pin or something for 15+ seconds.
