How to use firestick with my surround sound system.

How to use firestick with my surround sound system. So problem. The stick is connected to the TV and attempted to use av and component cables but no luck. Can anybody help me?

You would need to use the "audio out" on your TV to get the firestick sound through the surround system.
What model number is your TV

Or if your surround sound system has HDMI inputs connect the Firestick to one of those. The surround would already have an HDMI to the TV.
