Solved! How to view unsupported files on LG K20 android

Unsupported file or cannot read file message is shown when trying to view.

What specific type of file or message are you trying to view/read but can't? Have you checked the app store for a viewer that will let you read/view the files in question?

Trying to look at pics or videos.downloaded apkinstaller and vlc app. Shows under file thumbnail or dcim but once downloaded and renamed still will not show..SD card in and working.chsnged settings also

What is the file extension (.jpg, .png, .cr2, .gif, etc.) of the picture files it won't read? Same question about the video files (.mov, .mp4, .mpeg, etc.)?

.jpg and .mp4..Google play store activated.

It would appear both of those type files would be easily viewable on an android device. When you transfer and rename you are leaving the file extension as is, correct? What is the source (origin) of the files you are trying to view? Are they copied from another phone, computer, camera or camcorder? Are the files renamed before or after they are transferred to the phone?

Copied from back up of LG style and. Went to app store downloaded open it and now it is working..
