Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a work laptop and a personal laptop. I would like to find a way to use my external monitor for both (not necessarily at the same time) without having to be plugging and unplugging cables each time I want to switch. For my work laptop it would not be graphic intensive....it would be for my personal laptop. Any suggestions?

There would be no way to do this without cables to connect to. Monitors need the cables.

You could, however, look into either a split cable (depending on your device) or using a KVM switch. You would just need to make sure you get the correct version for what you are trying to do and how you are trying to connect.
