Hi,

Am planning to buy HP 15-g049AU Notebook (APU Quad Core A8)

Which has A8-6410 processor, Please confirm whether any heat problem will arise and the performance

i wil use my laptop for Coding ( Java ( running program in Eclipse or netbans, Dotnet fram work 4.0
Oracle, SQL 2008, virtual box

and surfing and waching movies

Need to know like using this processor will show any drastic slowness or performance issue when compare to i3

The A8 and the i3 are just about the same, video performance will be faster with the A8. You'd likely want 8 gig of RAM in the system for the programs you will be using.

I will double the 8gb recommendation for your apps. Especially on an HP with its metric S*** ton of bloatware. If you were running a completely clean install of 8.1 you could get away with 4 and only minor slowdowns, but on a HP/Dell/Sony you won't have anything left after the crap they put on them gets going.

Also, on the heat side. HPs are very well known for having poor cooling. However, you are not looking at performance parts. I don't think you will have any issues with heat at that level.

The processor, the A8-6410, is a 15 W part. You should not have any heat issues, and performance should be good.
